Purse Essentials 101-Preparedness in 1 Bottle:
I was recently at a baby shower where we played the ‘What’s in your purse’ game. Everyone was awarded points based off of items that could be found in a lady’s purse–1 point for items like keys that were most basic, up to 3 points for items that only the most prepared ‘Mary Poppin’s’ type people in this word have (ie. socks in your purse-really?) I thought, why don’t they have Peppermint Essential Oil on their list?–THAT is something that truly should be in everyone’s purse! Why? Because Peppermint can help support you with most all of the problems that can arise when you are out and about! Here is my list:
Occasionally Upset Tummies
Feelings of Motion Sickness
Help relieve feelings of tension
Helping to open airways
Need I say any more? Go throw some in your purse!–I’d say that is worth at least 10 points!
**And since we are on the subject of the wonders of Peppermint oil, it would be wise to point out that it is has a fairly strong ‘icy-hot’ feel to it, so when applying topically, it is often best to dilute. You can use a ‘carrier oil’ such as coconut oil (awesome because it is non-greasy and absorbs quickly) or if you need it ‘on the go’ just have a small tube of unscented lotion in your purse-works beautifully! (And you’ll get more ‘points’ for the lotion at your next baby shower) 🙂
