Known as the “tree of life,” Arborvitae has many therapeutic benefits. Native to Canada, all parts of the Arborvitae tree were used extensively by Native Americans for health benefits and for building vessels, totem poles, baskets, and clothing. Because of its natural preserving properties, Arborvitae prevents wood from rotting, which makes it popular in woodcraft and for preserving natural wood surfaces. As well as promoting healthy cell function…I have heard that men like to wear it as cologne too…sure, why not? So what can YOU use Arborvitae Essential oil for? Lots of things!
*Diffuse in your home to purify the air and protect against airborne irritants and threats.
*Put some Arborvitae Essential Oil in a spray bottle to clean your wood surfaces (fabulous for wood floors!) THEN polish to a preserving and protecting shine with a DIY furniture polish made with Olive oil and Arborvitae!
*Skin Irritations: Apply to affected area mixed with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil or almond oil.
*Promote healthy cellular function by applying to bottoms of feet and/or behind ears.
Any one else have something to add to my list?
